What we will pursue

  • Improve access to City recreation opportunities for children, families, and seniors.
  • Support more attainable, age-friendly housing options for seniors who want to remain in Surrey.
  • Publish plain-language information when City programs or facilities introduce age-sensitive educational material.

City role: recreation access, local housing policy, facilities, and clear public information.

Lower Taxes

Less waste. More visible results.

Treat every tax dollar as a public trust and make residents able to see the result their money is buying.

What we will pursue

  • Review spending line by line before asking residents for more.
  • Tie new spending to a clear service outcome and a public measure.
  • Publish a plain-language budget that shows where the money goes and what residents receive.

City role: budgets, service standards, procurement, fees, and transparent performance reporting.

Home Protection

Protect lawful ownership through a fair process.

Create a practical path for verified property-damage awards while preserving tenant protections and due process.

What we will pursue

  • Explore a Home Protection Fund for property damage confirmed through a valid RTB decision.
  • Publish strict eligibility, verification, and anti-fraud safeguards before funds are issued.
  • Defend lawful property ownership while respecting Indigenous rights, tenancy law, and due process.

City role: design the proposed fund carefully and advocate with the Residential Tenancy Branch and Province.

No To Drugs

Safe parks, clean public spaces, real pathways to recovery.

Respond quickly to dangerous public drug activity while connecting people to treatment, rehabilitation, and recovery supports.

What we will pursue

  • Keep parks and playgrounds free of discarded needles through rapid reporting and cleanup.
  • Coordinate enforcement against illegal public drug activity with police and health partners.
  • Pair public-safety action with stronger pathways to treatment, rehabilitation, and recovery.

City role: parks and public-space maintenance, bylaws, policing coordination, and partnership with health agencies.

Stop Extortion

Urgent protection for businesses, families, and neighbourhoods.

Support frontline policing, improve the reporting path for threatened businesses, and focus coordinated action on recurring hotspots.

What we will pursue

  • Support frontline policing resources and specialized investigations focused on extortion.
  • Create a rapid reporting and City coordination path for threatened businesses.
  • Monitor recurring hotspots and publish City actions without compromising active investigations.
  • Prioritize the routes and public places where children and families need to feel safe.

City role: police resourcing, business outreach, public-space safety, and coordination with provincial and federal investigators.

Accountable City Hall

A named contact, a clear timeline, and visible follow-through.

Reduce the runaround by giving residents clearer ownership, faster hand-offs, and public service standards.

What we will pursue

  • Give residents and applicants a named contact for complex City files.
  • Publish response-time standards and reduce unnecessary waits at City Hall.
  • Speed up permits and inspections through clearer departmental hand-offs.
  • Track road repair requests, assigned responsibility, and completion publicly.

City role: service standards, staffing, permits, inspections, road repairs, and public reporting.
